Yes. Free works without an account and uses your browser's speech recognition plus local rule-based cleanup. Pro is a planned paid upgrade for managed transcription and higher-quality AI cleanup; checkout is not public yet.
It depends on the mode. Free browser speech recognition may send audio to your browser vendor's speech service. Managed Pro transcription uploads the recording to MouthPiece and forwards it to Groq. MouthPiece does not intentionally save audio recordings to its history database.
Free uses your browser's built-in speech recognition and rule-based cleanup that removes filler words and fixes punctuation. Pro adds managed Whisper transcription and AI rewriting through Anthropic or Groq for more substantial polishing.
Not to use Free on one device. You can optionally sign in with Google or an email link so history and future Pro access follow your account. Login-free private-link sync remains available as an alternative.
